Red, white and blue!! Memorial Day weekend was so much fun! The weekend started with a Red Sox game with Kara. I hadn't been to a game in a few years and we couldn't have asked for better weather, the game was actually really exciting to watch and they won! At the end of the game they invited all of the kids in the stands to come down and run the bases which was actually super cool to watch. Owen would have really liked it, but it was also a nice treat to have a rare girls day out with one person I would be lost without!! After the game we had a nice dinner at Donohue's - it was a great day!!

On Sunday we headed over to Watertown to watch their parade composed of fire trucks, police cars, high school bands, kids sports teams, horses and even little race cars. We were at the beginning of the parade route so we were thrown more candy then we knew what to do with, came home with two new american flags and two very happy kids that had a blast!

After the parade we enjoyed playing outside in the gorgeous weather, cooking on the grill and just hanging out together as a family. It was the perfect weekend before gearing up for the crazy month of June which we knew would be non-stop!
