The time is just flying by and we can't believe Owen is 5 month old! He doesn't go to the doctors until next month, so I don't have any of his stats to update, but I can share what he has been up too :).
For the moment he still has blue eyes, although the middle part of his eyes do have hints of brown so we will see if they change or not.
He LOVES to bounce/jog in his bouncer. I can only imagine what it is going to take to keep him contained in one area once he starts crawling ... he loves to move!
He is still waking up at at least twice a night -- on a good night (last night he was up e.v.e.r.y single hour and that happens more then I would like) but we have finally gotten him on somewhat of a schedule. He goes down for bed between 7 and 7:30 and gets up between 6 and 6:15. He takes 3 naps a day in his crib and is still struggling to get a long nap in (or a nap at all)... but if you only knew how hard it has been to get him to nap in his crib at all you would know that this is a big win in our book although we are still working out all of the kinks .
Bath time may be one of his favorite times during the day ... he sure is my little fishy!
Because he can roll over from his tummy to back now tummy time has become a little difficult ... as soon as we put him on his tummy he rolls to his back ... he knows what he wants thats for sure.
He giggled for the first time this past week while I was tickling his tummy. It is the most precious sound ever.
He found his toes on May 14th and now loves to grab them at any chance he can get. They have become his new toy.
He loves to chew on Sophie the giraff ... because yes he is still teething. No teeth yet but lots of drool and lots of nawing on anything he can get his mouth on.
He is going to start some veggies this week with his cereal. I wouldn't say he loves his cereal but he tollerates it and eats it every night.
He is great at grabbing and picking up toys on his own and will chew on them as he wishes or just throws them across the room.
We are working on sitting but he still falls over after about a minute of sitting by himself ... he is very strong though!
