Eric's West Coast Trip to Meet Noah

This past weekend the entire fam was fortunate enough to get to take a trip to San Francisco to meet Geoff and Giselle's new baby boy Noah Jon Hunter. I'll give you a quick run down on my adventure then get to the good stuff...the photos.
On Thursday after work I got on a 6pm flight direct to San Francisco and arrived there around 10:00pm (1am EST). By the time I had arrived, I along with the rest of us who had traveled cross country were pretty exhausted. I got to meet Noah for the first time which was very exciting and brief. Noah was a great sleeper and we heard only a few complaints all weekend and it was only when he was cold, hungry or needed a diaper change.

Friday morning my Mom, Molly, Mike, Lizzie and hit the vineyards to do some wine tasting for the day. We started at Pride, one of the official wines of the White House. Then hit Sequoia Grove, the official wine of Geoff Hunter. And finished at Cakebread, the official wine of Uncle Bob. The other cool thing was that along the way we got to see a lot of other vineyards for wines that we knew. We didn't get to stop at them but it was fun to see where they all come from.
Friday evening we stayed in so we could all hang out together with Noah. We got to take turns holding Noah, had some pizza and played some bean bag toss (which were extremely competitive).

Saturday I decided to skip the excursion for the day and stay with Geoff, Giselle, Noah and my Dad. It was my Dad's 60th Birthday (Happy B-day again)! It was great to take it easy, talk about the baby life and Uncle Eric even did a little babysitting! During the day Geoff took my dad and I over to a shooting range and we got to shoot his guns. That was really cool experience, its surprising the amount of kick those guns carry and how difficult they are to shoot accurately.

Saturday night we all got to celebrate my Dad's 60th Birthday. We had all kinds of seafood and steak, Noah came outside to cheer us on in the bean bag games, and we topped it off with some Yummy Yogurt and cake. A few short hours later I was on the 6am flight back to Boston.

It was a great trip, one that was of course too short. It was great to catch up with the fam and celebrate the birth of Noah and my Dad's 60th.

And now for some of my photos...
