Graduation Weekend

This weekend we traveled to The University of RI to watch Danny receive his masters of engineering degree. The graduation was actually very nice, especially for such a large school. Instead of grouping the doctorate and masters degrees with the undergrads, the university held a separate ceremony on Saturday just for the graduate degrees inside at the Ryan Center -- which is the university's athletic center --- and we were able to sit in very comfy stadium chairs and could see everything great. On top of that, the whole graduation only took about an hour and a half, which was wonderful! After the graduation, everyone that attended was invited to the presidents reception with some light hors'douerves, dessert and juice. It was such a lovely event and just what we needed to get us through the car ride back to my parents house before going out for a celebratory dinner with the family! It was a great day and we are so glad we made the trip!!!
