Fun, Fun, Fun

Last Saturday, I traveled home for the weekend to see my parents, work on some wedding details, catch-up with my girl friends and celebrate my cousin Alyssa's birthday!

The weekend started off by picking out the flowers for the wedding. My mom came with me and I think we picked out flowers that are just going to make everything "pop." We worked with a wonderful florist who helped tie all of the wedding pieces together -- and for the first time I can actually picture how everything is going to look. I have been waiting for this day, and can honestly say, it really is all coming together just beautifully!

After the flowers my mom and I went shopping at the Holyoke Mall and then we picked out the guys tuxes. It was a little difficult to find the right color vests for the guys, but we did it and celebrated by going out to dinner with my Dad to a little restaurant called Red Rock. After a great meal, I met up with my girl friends Katie and Lianne for some drinks and lots of girl talk! It was such a great night, I don't think any of us wanted it to end.

Here is a picture of us having drinks at Westwoods!

On Sunday, I was able to go out to brunch with my Grammie Alice, Auntie Cindy, Alyssa and my mom and dad at the Irish Club. The food was so yummy and all of the proceeds went to Jamie's grandfathers scholarship which was just awesome! After brunch we all headed over to my Grammie's to see her new kitchen (it looks AMAZING) and celebrate Alyssa's 15th birthday -- wow I feel old! It was such a great day and it was so nice to see everyone in one weekend!

While I was in Westfield, Eric and Lexi had a fun filled weekend in Belmont hanging out with Eric's friend Matt, playing at the park in the warm 60 degree weather and relaxing. And on Saturday night, they had a great time at a local bar, where Eric called to tell me Lexi went with them and got in using her fake id! Although I know she was sleeping in the kitchen, I really got a kick out of the story. Gotta love it :)

I also wanted to wish both Alyssa and Giselle a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Even though, I am a little late and didn't post right on your birthday, the Hartman's believe that you get a whole birthday week! So happy birthday girls!! We all love you!
